| Welcome!
We hear them talking at nearby tables in
restaurants, on cell phones in the market and at the office coffee
machine-seeking advice from someone, anyone, to help them cope with
the challenges that they face on any given day-decisions, worries,
hurts, temptations . . . and sometimes we are "them." The
secular media offers a myriad of answers for our dilemmas, but for
the Christian woman, these answers leave us feeling empty with a
little red flag raised in our hearts.
When the Psalmist David exclaimed in Psalm 23,
"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. . .," he wasn't kidding.
He had found Someone to guide him through life. May the pages
of the Shepherd Moments work hand in hand with my devotional book,
Intimate Moments with the Shepherd, to remind us that we, Like
David, have a Shepherd to guide us through the daily challenges we
face. He knows the way, He can be trusted, and all we have to
do is follow.
In His great love,
Phyllis
